Special Congregational Meeting held on October 22, 2023

SMLC Congregational Council called for Special Meeting of the Congregation on Sunday, October 22nd to discuss specific agenda items related to the long-term sustainability of the St. Michael’s property. Following ONE SERVICE at 10:00 AM, 62 voting members joined for a lively and thorough discussion both in person and online via Zoom.

The agenda for the Special Meeting included resolutions to replace the roofs over the Social Hall and the large Sunday School room, installing air conditioning in the Social Hall, kitchen, and choir room, and entering a 20-year Solar contract.  Materials from the meeting are available on this webpage.

All of the resolutions passed by an overwhelming majority!  To bring this vision to life, we are seeking the support of compassionate and forward-thinking individuals and households. Our target goal is $120,000 to complete these projects and lead our community towards a more sustainable and faith-filled future.

You are invited to be a key partner in this transformative journey. Your support will not only help us realize our immediate goals but also inspire others to contribute to this worthy cause. Your generous contribution will ensure our congregation's legacy of faith, compassion, and sustainability.

Donate now using the button below or to discuss your potential contribution please contact the church office. Together, we can build a future that embodies the principles of faith, sustainability, and community, leaving a lasting imprint for generations to come.
